Banff Wedding Venues List - Winter

These were my favourite venues from Banff region in Canada (No particular order):

The Fairmont Banff Springs
Known as the "Castle in the Rockies" The Fairmont Banff Springs is located in Banff National Park.

This place looks amazing in the winter, it looks phenomenal outside and inside and they have a variety of room options for small to large weddings. I also found their prices to be fairly reasonable.

Emerald Lake Lodge
Emerald Lake Lodge looks amazing in winter, and they cater to large or small weddings.

I really liked the location, the photo opportunities are endless. They have a beautiful room called Cilantros which is just fabulous.

The Post Hotel
This Post Hotel is located near Lake Louise so you can visit there for photos on your wedding day, which is one of the big draw cards of the area.

They have fireplaces in the rooms, a spa facility and even an ice skating rink in the winter! They too can cater for large or small weddings, and have an outdoor and indoor ceremony option.

The Fairmont Lake Louise
The Fairmont Lake Louise sits on Lake Louise itself, which is pretty spectacular. The views are amazing (as you can see).

The rooms are pretty amazing, and they offer huge halls or smaller rooms, so all wedding sizes are available! You can even get a sleigh ride to the hotel for your grand entrance!

The Bear and Bison Inn
This is a great place located in Canmore. It caters more for weddings and you can book the entire place out for a couple of days for your wedding guests.

It has a beautiful view of The Three Sisters mountains. They also offer night time wedding, and can set up a smores station.

There are a lot more venues available in Lake Louise and Banff area, here is a list of venues you can look at from Orange Girl Photography, you can see some of the photos she has taken of the venues as well as contact details: Wedding Venues Banff

One that isn't for winter months but if you are looking for summer this is the place for you.

Moraine Lake Lodge
I absolutely loved this lodge and I would have gotten married here in an instant. That was if it wasn't closed during winter. I will totally make an excuse to go here in future. Just in the warmer non-freezing months! They also have a sister lodge called Cathedral Mountain Lodge in Yoho national park, which is an hour's drive from Banff.
